The Hard Biscuits and The Watchers raiding Helegrod - 12 Feb. 2010

Thanks again for *the* greatest run to Helegrod ever!
This short video is made out of 4 minutes material I managed to gather during our recent raid to Helegrod. To be honest this small movie has been completed in 3 hours work while I was doing two other things at the same time - including fighting my arch-nemesis better known as "Real-Life".
While it has been done in a "quick and dirty" fashion the result isn't too bad I think. There is no closing creadits for the simple reason I could not remember who joined us. I am looking forward to our next Helegrod trip in the next weeks so I will be able to gather more material, eventually even managing to record Talon and probably re-making this video entirely using some modified options. For now, please comment and enjoy !

Yuletide with the Hard Biscuits

ok... ahem.. this video was a nightmare to me,
1. made the mistake to put myself a deadline - that i missed by the way.
2. my original cut did not fit the rough storyboard i had in mind
3. actually completly threw the original cut in the bin.
4. recreated something completely different.
5. threw it in the bin aswell
6. repeatedly failed at filming people from the kin
7. had a really hard time with the transitions between the 2 soundtracks and finally did not manage to find a proper solution
8. I think I still could do something better but then we'll have august as release date...

next video will be better again, don't worry - I won't turn into the next George Lucas. as usual, please leave a comment on your thoughtsabout this work, what can be done better.

The Hard Biscuits summer party beginning of june 2009 (or was it end of may 2009).. yes that's it 31 may 2009.
we had fireworks, ale, chicken run, ale, chicken run to the watching stones in Angmar, more ale, we played tag in Breeland, had some drinks, and made some horse race from Thorin's hall to Caras Galadhorn, did I mention refreshing alcoholic beverages ?


cut out of around 30 minutes raw material -and even not from the complete eveneing as I missed the longer part of the chicken run and was too tired for the horse race, and took around 6 hours of work, on one side i'm kinda proud but also a bit unsatisfied with the quality. This first video allowed me to better understand what can go wrong in such a project and I hope to make something better next time. but until then, Enjoy ! and please leave comments on what can be enhanced
